The aquarium hobby does not come cheap, especially when your guided wrong *cough cough*. Our goal is to make this site your cost-effective go to for all your aquarium needs!
When fish or shrimps are bred locally, they have a higher survival rate. Their water transition is easier, no stressful airplane travel, and no cramped pet store living conditions. All of these make a recipe for stronger, more healthier live stock to add to your tank!
When the plants are grown by hobbiest's... they aren't as expensive! Filling your tank is not easy when the plants range from $10 to $25 per pod of a few stems. Find locals who are selling their clippings for more than 50% less than pet stores. Eventually, you may become the one selling them!
Some items we can't lower costs on, but some we can! Before you purchase a $40 gravel of sand or substrate, check out our inventory and 2nd Hand page to see who else is providing a cost effective answer to your substrate needs! In context, a 100G tank could take as many as 4 (40lb) bags! Thats over $160+!

“I went to EZaquariums for shrimps and learned about their affordable DIY aqauscape kit. It seemed too good to be true but for only $50, I had to give it a try.
TBH, it that changed my tank for the better! They included the perfect amount of each products + my request for guppies and shrimps, all within my budget. BTW I suggested the $50 budget and they worked within it.
They have created a fabulous look in my tank that the fish and I both love!
I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again when I upgrade my tank size!”
